Christmas is all about the children and we are lucky to have two grandchildren now and I love their excitement over Christmas and the holidays.

I am looking forward to making trifle for Christmas day lunch for my family - each year I like to try a new recipe!

I am looking forward to making my brandy custard to have with my great grandmother's Christmas pudding. I always make a double batch of custard so I can have sneaky glass on the side!
