20 Years of Woolerina: Looking Back at 2020

We all remember 2020 as the year that turned the world upside down! At Woolerina, the impacts of the pandemic were felt in a positive way, as we responded to an increased demand for Australian made product.

We entered 2020 at the height of a drought, where dust storms were occurring almost daily and we remember our photoshoot day as hot, dry and dusty. As the year moved on, we received amazing rain and finished the year with a flood.


We launched our AW20 collection under new branding, after engaging Emmanate Creative to refresh and refine all aspects of the Woolerina brand and we were absolutely thrilled with the results.

The Woolerina team consisted of seven, with three of our team keeping our workroom buzzing as we brought all of our garment production in-house. In mid 2020, we purchased our fully automated CAD system and cutting machine, creating huge efficiencies for our business.

Having already made the decision to dramatically reduce the number of in-person events we attended and with people staying home, our online store was busier than it had ever been.

2020 was a defining year for our business and one we certainly won't forget!
