Running from 20 - 26 May 2024, Australian Made Week is a time to celebrate local makers and growers, and encourage shoppers to purchase Australian Made products!
Australian Made Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, said Australian Made Week aims to put the spotlight on genuine Aussie goods.
“When we buy products bearing the iconic Australian Made green and gold kangaroo, we are helping all Australians enjoy the lifestyle that makes us the envy of the rest of the world,” Lazzaro said.
“Australian Made Week is an opportunity for us to become more conscious about our purchases – because choosing Australian Made over imported goods can have a huge impact."
Woolerina was established in 2005 as a result of our founder Warwick Rolfe's long-held desire to take raw Australian Merino wool directly off-farm and follow it through to a completed garment. Whilst inital stage of processing must now happen off-shore, yarn is returned to us in Australia, enabling us to maintain close relationships with our knitter and dye-house in Melbourne and our makers in Sydney.
All design, pattern making, cutting and some garment construction happens in-house at our workrooms at Forbes in central west NSW.
To celebrate Australian Made Week (20th - 26th May 2024), at Woolerina we've got some surprises planned, so keep your eyes out for our daily giveaways!
Alongside our daily giveaways, all purchases made in-store and online this week will go into the draw to WIN back the value of your purchase (up to $350).
