Production Team Member
An opportunity exists to join the Woolerina production team in our workroom at Forbes. We are looking for a new team member with a keen interest in sewing, its associated tasks and clothing manufacturing and design.
Basic sewing skills and experience with sewing machines are highly desirable however not essential for the right candidate. Experience with CAD software and/or design and pattern making would be advantageous but is most definitely not essential.
We are looking for someone who has a high level of attention to detail; someone who is adaptable/flexible; someone who can work under pressure and someone who has a willingness to learn and will happily take instruction from others as necessary. An ability to work in a team, alongside and in conjunction, with fellow team members is essential.
The right candidate will be well-presented and take pride in their work and their workspace.
Tasks in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Sewing;
- Pressing and packing garments;
- General housekeeping duties as required;
- Basic administration.
Ideally this is a full-time position however hours will be negotiable for the right candidate.
This position will be paid in accordance with the Textile, Clothing, Footwear (TCF) and Associated Industries Award.
