The Wonder of Wool!

Finally, some competition winners!

Thursday, September 22, 2011

We’ve been a bit slack of late…we got all excited in July about our “how many do you do?” competition and then failed to notify the winners! So, yesterday we finally did the draw!

(that's Warwick & Janet, pulling winners out of the beanie)

And the winners are:

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Pauline Cox who has won a $200 Woolerina prize pack as the first out of the beanie…Pauline also gets special mention for being the individual wearing the most layers – we loved her Facebook post:

“If it's competition time at Woolerina then I'm in it: this morning as I set off for work in down-town Tasmania, I donned a Woolerina singlet under a Woolerina long-sleeved top, and Woolerina boy-legs under jeans, a Woolerina head wrap as my mountain of hair won't fit beneath a beanie and wrapped a Woolerina tie around my neck. Warm? You betcha!”

In other categories, the winners were –

Andrew Bruem – for the oldest Woolerina that is still in service in its sixth winter.

Shellie Drysdale – for the most people wearing Woolerina, being her and her 2 gorgeous boys (and recently the addition of another little boy who is loving his baby Woolerina!).

special mentions go to –

Jannette Rowe, whose Woolerina is still going strong in its third winter

Tony and Belinda who layered their Woolerina head to toe in Antarctica!

And finally,

Wendy & CB who inspired the competition after Wendy sent through a message  "We are a little Woolerina family here - on Wednesday CB had tights, neckwarmer and top on and I had a singlet, long sleeve, tights and armwarmers. We were toasty as!"

Thanks to all who took the time to enter & congratulations to the winners! We'll be contacting you via email shortly.

Spring into Woolerina!

Thursday, September 15, 2011

We know we aren't the only one's who think it, but time seems to be flying by at Woolerina as we continue attending lots of EVENTS and begin our planning for the 2012 season. There are lots of exciting things planned, so stay tuned!

Much excitement in our office of late as Woolerina has received some national exposure in the media – Friday 26th August saw an article in an Australian Made, Special Feature in the Sydney Morning Herald and then on Sunday 28th August, Warwick could be heard on Australia All Over with Macca. To read the article and/or listen to the interview, visit our NEWS page.

As we head into Spring, it seems we’ve seen the last of the really cold weather with days getting longer and day after day of gorgeous sunshine! While it’s definitely warming up, don’t discount the value of your Woolerina garments as solely for the cold. While you might not need as many layers, your Woolerina wardrobe is versatile enough to be worn as your base layer while it’s still chilly but stylish enough to be seen “alone” as the temperature increases. The pick of the Woolerina flock for Spring would have to be.....

unisex SportMate

kid's t-shirts to ensure
they're warm when they
need to be & not so
when they don't!

a gorgeous
